Factors Related to the Prevalence of Depression among Young People

Abstract

|
Objectives: This study analyzeds the prevalence and related factors of depression among young people.
Methods: A total of 54,215 people aged 19-39 were surveyed in the community health survey, and 47,239 were finally included. Frequency analysis, composite sample cross-section analysis, and composite logistic regression were done using SAS 9.4. ver.
Results: Marriage status, education level, basic living beneficiaries, smoking, high-risk drinking, attitudes to the local social and physical environment, social environment, and social activities were found to be statistically-significantly associated with the prevalence of depression among the youth
Conclusions: Attention is required in various areas to prevent and alleviate depression, and we need more research is required to help gain insight regarding ways to prevent depression among the youth that can help prevent depression among the youth and help them cope with it at national and regional levels.
